Study trip to the CLT factory

We broadened our horizons on a study tour to the CLT factory.
Gleaning inspiration for our future projects.

HESTIA has often built in CLT (cross laminated timber) in the past.
We find it extremely interesting to follow up on the evolutions in that branch of construction.

Did you know that building in CLT is CO2-negative?
And living in the space afterwards lighter and cooler?
The CO2 that was stored throughout the life of the tree remains just as nicely stored in the wood after processing.
And this is all just the tip of the CLT iceberg.
