What does Hestia stand for?
In Greek mythology, Hestia is the goddess of the domestic hearth - symbolising warmth, tranquillity and connection. She is characterised as a peace-loving and gentle figure, who kept away from conflicts. Moreover, she is often considered the inventor of architecture.
In the Kempen region, Hestia represents a family of companies that have their origins with pater familias Marc Eysermans. These companies are active in project development and patrimony management, with a strong focus on real estate in their own region.
Like her mythological namesake, Hestia aims to be a source of stability and harmony - in every project, for every resident, and with respect for the environment in which we build.
Hestia is the commercial name under which several companies work together.
When you come across names such as NV Netebeemden or Pro-Build, they refer to companies that are part of Hestia.
Hestia acts as the umbrella organisation under which these companies are united. From a shared vision of building, developing and managing, Hestia combines the expertise of its subsidiaries into one powerful whole.

Our roots, our growth
1922
Hestia was founded in 1922. 100 years ago, the grandfather of current manager Marc Eysermans laid the first stone of the company in Mol.
1963
More than 40 years later, on 10 May 1963, the current manager Marc was born. At his father's request, he took charge of Zilverstrand campsite in Mol at an early age. Yet his real passion lies elsewhere: in developing and realising projects.
2002
Another 40 years later, Marc realises his first project: Residence Wandelweg in the centre of Mol.
This project consists of eight flats and one house.
2011
In 2011, a permanent collaboration was established with Greet Dierckx, better known as 'uw Thuismakelaar'. She is responsible for the rental of the entire portfolio and for the sale of new-build projects.
2018
In January 2018, his daughter Liesbeth joined the business. After a long journey on the other side of the world, she applied, quite unexpectedly, to join the family business. She also remains active as a freelancer in art education, her other great passion.
