Hestia vs litter

Litter is out of date.

Unfortunately, on some of our sites, we find that litter is a recurring uninvited guest.
This refers more specifically to car parks and private land that may be used publicly (e.g. connecting paths).

To combat litter, we organise regular clean-up events ourselves.
After all, a dirty patch of nature/berm/pad attracts even more dirt.
However, to find a more structural solution to this problem, we contacted the municipality asking what can be done
To the continuous pollution of these bits of Mol.
The municipality informed us that unfortunately, they cannot intervene on anything that is private property.
An understandable message but unfortunately that did not get rid of our problem (well, off the verge that is).

After some research, we ended up with mooimakers, a site of the Flemish government and an absolute anrader!
In fact, we were able to order signage specifically applicable to our sites very easily and completely free of charge.
Less than 3 days after the (free!) online order, all materials were neatly delivered.
Talk about a paragon of service and efficiency!

We are going to lustily knock a pole or 10 into the ground here and there where needed,
Combine this with another big clean-up operation and
hope that our bermkes may equally be a paragon of service and orderly efficiency in the future!
